These self-care practices for clearing brain fog and restoring mental clartity are inspired by a recent intense period of looking at screens for a long time. I mean, way too much.
I don’t know about you, but looking at screens too long can really mess up head and my brain gets disturbed and unstable—you might say Vata-imbalanced. (Vata is the dosha, or energy state, that is most associated with the Air element.)
If you could use some head balancing and brain clearing, then make yourself comfortable and try these practices. And then my recommendation is WALK AWAY FROM YOUR DEVICE.
Go outside, catch a vista (a good antidote to the narrow focus of screen viewing), look at trees, absorb the sunlight, and smell the lavender.
This practice is part of Soma Sangha, a community in which we deepen embodiment, awaken life force, and strengthen our connection to ourselves and the natural world.
Thursdays 11-12:30 PM Pacific Time starting mid-September 2025. Online via Zoom.
